Thrane Axe & Saw Company is located in Dickerson, Maryland. We sell and restore vintage axes and saws of all sorts. We offer unique restoration services and products that may not be found in today’s market. Our fair pricing and commitment to stand behind our products are what separates us from others. Our founder has extensive experience with vintage axes and saws, and he has built up a substantial collection. His passion for the old hand tools has developed into creating some of the highest quality products around.
We believe that there is, and will continue to be, a demand for niche products in the future that we are able to offer. We are continually striving to have a plethora of options and products that will appeal to anyone. Today, it is becoming harder to find excellent handcrafted and hand carved axe handles that are free from heartwood, improper grain orientation, and lacquer coatings that dry out and ruin axe handles.
Our products are handcrafted in our workshop, which is located in Dickerson, Maryland. Located on 27 acres of rural land next to Sugarloaf Mountain, Thrane Axe & Saw Co. is settled in a beautifully remote place. We believe that it is necessary to make the highest quality products in order to meet the growing demands of customers in today’s market. Our passion for the old hand tools is evident here, and we hope that you can use one of our products, or take part in one of our services in the near future.
