Description
Custom, handmade, glued, dried, and planed laminated axe handle blank. All wood used is kiln dried or air dried lumber that is very dry with an approximate moisture content of less than 15 percent. The glue used is Titebond III Ultimate wood glue which is food safe, very strong, and waterproof. Each wood lamination is approximately 1/8″-1/4 inch thick and has been planed flat on both sides before gluing to allow for a very tight fit. The overall thickness of each blank will be approximately 1.25″-1.5 inches thick. This product is great for those who would like to carve and finish their very own laminated axe handle from scratch with everything ready for you to begin carving once you receive your package! This is an alternative to having a professionally hand carved laminated axe handle and will make for a great axe restoration project!
